Job Title: Release Train Engineer

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Remote (US-based preferred; exceptional candidates from other locations considered)

Job Summary:

Are you a highly motivated, focused leader with a passion for program delivery and transformation? Join our customer's team as a Release Train Engineer, where you'll orchestrate cross-team collaboration, drive program alignment, and deliver impactful product releases. This is a high-visibility opportunity to shape delivery outcomes and guide agile teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and organize Program Increment (PI) planning sessions to align teams with program goals and business priorities.
  • Coordinate execution by monitoring iteration progress across development, UI/CX, business analysis, and squad teams.
  • Manage dependencies and foster collaboration through regular Scrum of Scrums and cross-team communication.
  • Ensure backlog prioritization and alignment with documented scope and evolving platform capabilities.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams, business owners, and executive stakeholders, maintaining transparency with a live product roadmap.
  • Support release readiness by coordinating with release engineering, quality teams, and change management to ensure deployment success and knowledge transfer.
  • Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks and impediments, ensuring smooth delivery and issue resolution via Digital channels.
  • Define, track, and report on program KPIs and value delivery, providing senior leadership updates and insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer, Agile Program Manager, or similar role managing complex, multi-team programs.
  • Strong expertise in facilitating PI planning, Scrum of Scrums, and large-scale Agile ceremonies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience prioritizing backlogs, aligning delivery to business value, and managing cross-functional dependencies.
  • Technical acumen and comfort navigating software development, quality assurance, and platform capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, escalate, and resolve impediments within digital delivery environments.
  • Flexible and highly motivated, with a willingness to stretch beyond standard US business hours during key release periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification or similar Agile certification.
  • Prior experience supporting digital product releases in a fast-paced, scaling organization.
  • Product mindset with a focus on continuous value delivery and measurable impacts.
