Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose cognitive, affective, or behavioral mental health conditions within the context of marriage and family dynamics.
- Apply evidence-based psychotherapeutic and family systems techniques to counsel individuals, couples, and families.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate personalized treatment plans tailored to client needs and goals.
- Maintain clear, empathetic, and effective communication with clients, including both written documentation and verbal feedback.
- Utilize active listening and social perceptiveness to build trust and foster positive therapeutic relationships.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals as needed to ensure holistic client care.
- Commit to ongoing learning and application of new therapeutic strategies and theories.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience counseling over 100 clients and managing your own clinical practice.
- Expertise in active listening, complex problem solving, social perceptiveness, and negotiation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities to engage clients and document care accurately.
- Proficiency in judgment, decision making, and critical thinking within a family systems context.
- Strong service orientation and time management skills.
- Skilled in reading comprehension and the clear articulation of complex therapeutic concepts.
- Proven record of client satisfaction, including awards and public recognition.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Published client testimonials or evidence of high client satisfaction scores.
- Professional awards or public recognition in the field of marriage and family therapy.
