You will leverage your in-depth accounting knowledge to train, evaluate, and enhance state-of-the-art AI models, ensuring accurate and compliant financial processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine AI model training datasets using your accounting expertise, focusing on GAAP compliance and best practices.
  • Create detailed rubrics and assessment criteria to evaluate AI model performance in accounting contexts.
  • Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to identify improvement areas for AI accounting solutions.
  • Review, validate, and provide feedback on AI-generated accounting outputs, ensuring accuracy and regulatory alignment.
  • Document accounting processes, edge cases, and recommendations for AI model enhancement.
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions with cross-functional teams to bridge the gap between accounting and AI development.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest accounting regulations, tax compliance changes, and software innovations to inform model training.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven professional experience in accounting, with strong knowledge of GAAP compliance, tax preparation, and accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in preparing and reviewing tax documents and compliance filings.
  • Proficient in leading accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience managing general ledgers, reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, distributed team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in AI training, machine learning, or data annotation in a financial context.
  • CPA certification or equivalent professional qualification.
