Job Title: Database Administrator - AI expert

Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as a Database Administrator - AI Trainer, where your expertise in database management will directly impact the effectiveness of AI systems. You will leverage your strong communication skills to act as a subject matter expert (SME) for AI training, helping to shape the future of intelligent database solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer, test, and implement computer database systems with a focus on scalable, high-performance environments.

- Coordinate and execute changes to database systems, ensuring minimal disruption and ongoing data integrity.

- Identify, investigate, and resolve complex database performance, capacity, and scalability issues.

- Develop and implement robust security measures to safeguard data assets.

- Collaborate with AI development teams to provide database expertise for training models and workflow optimization.

- Document processes and communicate findings clearly through both written documentation and verbal briefings.

- Serve as a SME for AI-related database needs, supporting ongoing AI training initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in administering, testing, and implementing computer database management systems.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially related to performance, capacity, and scalability.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for clear and effective information sharing.

- In-depth understanding of security best practices for database administration.

- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and implement database changes in complex environments.

- Experience working cross-functionally, especially with AI or data science teams.

- Ability to work independently and as a proactive remote team member.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior experience as a Database Administration Manager, DBA, Database Engineer, or similar role.

- Hands-on involvement in AI training projects or supporting AI/ML model pipelines.

- Certifications in database management or related technologies.
