Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as a Legal Ops, Research & Compliance - AI Trainer and play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of legal technology. Your expertise will directly impact our AI's understanding of compliance, legal research, and operations, helping drive industry-leading innovation while supporting robust risk management and regulatory oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, curate, and refine legal datasets and compliance scenarios for AI training purposes.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research, analyze statutes, regulations, and policies to inform AI development and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal workflows and compliance protocols are accurately reflected in AI models.
  • Assess and synthesize risk factors, governance requirements, and audit findings to enhance AI-driven compliance solutions.
  • Design and optimize processes for contract lifecycle management, document automation, and matter management within AI systems.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and integrate updates into AI-driven compliance tracking tools.
  • Provide articulate written and verbal feedback to improve AI model outputs and documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in legal operations, research, or compliance management.
  • Academic background in legal studies, business, compliance, public policy, or related discipline.
  • Mastery in legal research and analysis, with a keen ability to gather, synthesize, and interpret complex regulations and case law.
  • Proven experience in compliance management and regulatory oversight (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, AML, or sector-specific regulations).
  • Expertise in legal operations management, process improvement, and utilizing legal tech tools (CLM, e-billing, matter management).
  • Strong risk assessment, governance support, and audit facilitation abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for clarity and precision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience training or collaborating with AI, legal tech, or compliance technology teams is a nice-to-have.
  • Familiarity with agile environments or digital transformation in legal operations.
  • Certification in compliance, risk management, or legal operations (e.g., CCEP, LPM, IAPP).
