Job Title: Junior PCB Design Engineer (DesignSpark)


Job Type: Contractor


Location: Remote


Job Summary: In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review, interpret, and evaluate PCB designs using DesignSpark software to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
  2. Provide detailed feedback and annotation on PCB schematics and layouts based on industry standards.
  3. Contribute technical insights to develop comprehensive data sets for AI model training.
  4. Collaborate closely with AI engineers and other technical team members to communicate best practices and common design challenges.
  5. Document common issues, design rationales, and solutions encountered in PCB development processes.
  6. Assist in creating guidelines and reference materials for PCB design using DesignSpark.
  7. Maintain clear and concise written records of tasks, findings, and recommendations.



Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Proficiency with DesignSpark PCB design software.
  2. Solid understanding of PCB design principles, including schematic capture and layout.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for documenting technical information and providing feedback.
  4. Detail-oriented approach to reviewing technical documentation and designs.
  5. Ability to work independently and remotely, managing time across multiple priorities.
  6. Basic knowledge of electronic components and circuits.
  7. Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, innovative environment.



Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Prior experience working with AI or training AI systems in a technical capacity.
  2. Experience preparing documentation or training materials for engineering audiences.
  3. Familiarity with other PCB design tools alongside DesignSpark.
