Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled RNA Specialist for a long-term AI-research project dedicated to advancing our understanding of RNA structures and their roles in AI training. The ideal candidate will possess profound knowledge in RNA structure, biochemistry, and design tools, contributing to groundbreaking research for our esteemed client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret RNA secondary and tertiary structures using advanced prediction tools.
- Collaborate with AI researchers to integrate RNA data into AI models.
- Utilize thermodynamic models to study RNA folding mechanisms and anomalies.
- Interpret SHAPE, DMS, and other chemical probing data to understand RNA dynamics.
- Design and model RNA sequences with specialized software such as ViennaRNA and NUPACK.
- Communicate complex scientific concepts clearly through written reports and verbal presentations.
- Contribute to the development of innovative AI solutions in RNA research.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge of RNA secondary and tertiary structure.
- Proficiency in RNA prediction tools and thermodynamic models.
- Experience with RNA biochemistry and function, including ribozymes and noncoding RNAs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with RNA transcription, stability, and degradation processes.
- Experience interpreting SHAPE, DMS, and other probing data.
- Proficiency in RNA design tools such as ViennaRNA, NUPACK, and RNAstructure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Eterna.
- Knowledge of folding anomalies like pseudoknots, bulges, and loops.
- Background in AI model training with RNA datasets.
