Join our customer's team as a Farm Labor Contractor, leveraging your expertise to manage and supervise agricultural workforces across various projects. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the recruitment, deployment, and management of agricultural labor crews for diverse farm operations.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and safety regulations.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the customer’s team and laborers, facilitating clear and effective written and verbal communication.
- Maintain detailed documentation related to workforce management, contracts, and performance metrics.
- Implement best practices in workforce productivity, quality control, and workplace safety.
- Resolve conflicts and address issues that arise promptly and professionally.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and continuous improvement of labor contracting operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as a Farm Labor Contractor (this is the top criterion).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a strong focus on clarity and professionalism.
- In-depth knowledge of farm labor contracting, including legal compliance and workforce management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and supervise diverse teams remotely.
- Proven organizational, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency with technology tools for remote team management and communication.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude and dedication to high service standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Recognized achievements or awards in agricultural labor management or contracting.
- Experience implementing innovative labor solutions in the agricultural sector.
