Job Title: Valuation & Modeling Expert

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay Range: $140-$240 (based on seniority)

Location: Remote, Canada, US and Europe (exclusive)

Job Summary:

Our customer, one of the world’s largest companies, is seeking a seasoned Valuation & Modeling Expert to join their dynamic team. This pivotal role focuses on delivering rigorous valuation analysis and building robust financial models that power high-stakes investment decisions. You will serve as a core engine of the investment team, shaping impactful transactions and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine advanced valuation models, including DCF with WACC, trading comparables, and precedent transaction analyses.
  • Construct and maintain integrated 3-statement financial models, operating models, and 13-week cash flow forecasts to support decision-making.
  • Design deal models such as LBO, merger (base version), and accretion/dilution to evaluate transaction impact.
  • Build and customize industry-specific models, including sale-leaseback, REIT conversion, and NAV models.
  • Lead bespoke transaction modeling for complex scenarios: RMT, spin/carve-outs, IP licensing, and more.
  • Perform advanced due diligence with deep dives into specialized verticals, including unit economics and cohort trend analyses.
  • Communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly in both written and verbal formats to key stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven 2+ years of progressive experience in investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, growth equity, corporate development, or strategic finance at tier 1 U.S. companies or Fortune 500 firms.
  • Expertise in core valuation methodologies and financial modeling fundamentals.
  • Hands-on proficiency in deal modeling (LBO, merger, accretion/dilution) and industry-specific models.
  • Proven ability to manage bespoke, complex transaction analyses and due diligence processes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment and interface with global stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel and financial analysis toolkit.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Combined experience across top-tier investment banking and leading buy-side firms.
  • Track record leading advanced transaction structuring (spin-outs, carve-outs, IP licensing).
  • MBA or relevant graduate degree in finance, economics, or related field.
