Job Summary:

Join our customer’s team to play a pivotal role in advancing the future of home robotics. As an In-Home Robotics Data Collection Specialist, you will capture authentic videos of daily household tasks, directly contributing to the training of intelligent robotics systems. Your efforts will help shape how robots understand and interact in real-world home environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Record high-quality videos of routine home activities such as washing dishes, doing laundry, folding clothes, sweeping, cooking, and organizing.
2. Utilize a smartphone mounted on a head strap to achieve a true hands-free, first-person perspective.
3. Follow clear, step-by-step setup and recording guidelines provided by the team.
4. Maintain a clean, well-lit environment for all video recordings to ensure optimal data quality.
5. Upload completed recordings securely using your home internet connection.
6. Demonstrate attention to detail to ensure consistency and accuracy across all submissions.
7. Collaborate proactively with project leads through written and verbal communication as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Experience using smartphone cameras, with preference for devices supporting wide-angle (0.5 zoom) recording.
2. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing clear, organized video content.
3. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
4. Comfortable performing everyday home tasks without staged actions or acting.
5. Access to a clutter-free, well-lit living space suitable for video capture.
6. Reliable high-speed internet connection for prompt video uploads.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to provide feedback or ask clarifying questions as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Prior participation in data collection, usability studies, or similar freelance projects.
2. Interest in robotics, artificial intelligence, or emerging technology applications.
3. Experience working independently in remote settings.
