Job Summary:
Join our team as an Application Engineer/Architect specializing in Policy Administration Systems (PAS) and play a pivotal role in our PAS modernization journey. You will architect and develop highly configurable, extensible, and high-performing solutions tailored for the insurance domain, driving digital transformation and seamless integration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect, design, and develop robust Policy Administration Systems to support business growth and operational agility.
• Build and manage complex, configurable data models and externalized workflow orchestration.
• Engineer API-first, cloud-agnostic services that enable smooth integration with modern insurance platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, promote best practices, and ensure delivery excellence.
• Drive the adoption of microservices, event-driven architecture, and containerization to achieve scalability and resilience.
• Oversee automated CI/CD pipelines and implement test automation strategies to ensure continuous delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Policy Administration Systems, ideally across the full policy lifecycle.
• Expertise in designing workflow engines/orchestration and implementing RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
• Proficiency in Java, .NET, or similar enterprise development stacks; experience with containerization technologies.
• Solid understanding of cloud-agnostic design and architectural patterns in scalable enterprise systems.
• Strong competency in written and verbal communication, with a commitment to clear, concise, and effective collaboration.
• Proven track record delivering complex software solutions within the insurance industry.
• US Citizenship or Green Card (GC) status required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture patterns.
• Hands-on involvement with CI/CD, test automation frameworks, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with modern PAS modernization and integration methodologies.
