Join our customer's team as a pivotal Chemical Engineer, contributing expertise to the development of AI-powered solutions. In this unique role, you'll develop safety protocols, enhance manufacturing processes, and ensure the highest standards for safety, efficiency, and compliance within chemical operations. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive safety procedures for workers operating equipment or working near ongoing chemical reactions.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in chemical manufacturing processes, providing swift and effective solutions.
  3. Monitor, analyze, and interpret process data and experimental results to inform ongoing improvements.
  4. Evaluate chemical equipment and processes to identify optimization opportunities and ensure environmental and safety compliance.
  5. Design and strategically plan layouts for equipment installations and process flows to maximize operational efficiency.
  6. Collaborate closely with cross-functional and AI-focused teams to support data-driven decision-making in process improvements.
  7. Contribute subject matter expertise to AI training initiatives, enhancing the accuracy and relevance of machine learning models in chemical engineering contexts.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
  2. Strong background in developing and enforcing safety standards within chemical environments.
  3. Proven problem-solving skills in troubleshooting chemical manufacturing processes.
  4. Experience with process monitoring, data analysis, and optimization techniques.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document procedures and explain complex concepts.
  6. Proficiency in designing process layouts and evaluating equipment for operational improvements.
  7. Adaptability to remote work, with a proactive and collaborative approach to team engagement.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience contributing to AI or machine learning initiatives within an industrial or research setting.
