Job Title: Marriage & Family Therapy Psychologist (PhD/PsyD)

Job Summary:

Our customer’s team is seeking a dedicated and insightful Marriage & Family Therapy Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) to provide evidence-based therapy and comprehensive psychological services in a flexible remote setting. You will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals, couples, and families through expert assessment and intervention, fostering positive change and resilience.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough clinical assessments and psychological testing to inform individualized treatment plans.
  2. Deliver effective psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other evidence-based modalities.
  3. Facilitate sessions focused on improving communication, resolving conflict, and strengthening relational dynamics.
  4. Document all clinical interactions with detailed progress notes and outcome evaluations.
  5. Apply research methods and best practices to continually enhance therapy outcomes and client satisfaction.
  6. Engage in ongoing collaboration with a multidisciplinary remote team to optimize care delivery.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state licensure requirements and ethical guidelines for telepsychology practice.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Doctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited institution.
  2. Active, unrestricted state licensure (must practice in the state where licensed).
  3. Proficiency in clinical assessment, psychological testing, and treatment planning for marriage and family dynamics.
  4. Advanced skills in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other relevant therapeutic approaches.
  5. Demonstrated expertise in both verbal and written English communication, with strong documentation skills.
  6. Familiarity with research methods and application of evidence-based practices.
  7. Ethical, compassionate, and client-centered approach with high professional integrity.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Specialized experience in Marriage & Family Therapy settings with diverse populations.
  2. Understanding or experience with reinforcement learning from human feedback.
  3. History of contributing to research or quality improvement initiatives in clinical psychology.
