Join our customer's team as a French Language Expert, where your deep linguistic knowledge and cultural insight will make a significant impact. In this part-time, fully remote role, you will play a key part in supporting cutting-edge projects by ensuring exceptional accuracy in French language data and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Annotate and review French language data to ensure high-quality outputs for machine learning and AI initiatives.
- Leverage expert cultural context understanding to inform data annotation and project decisions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide linguistic and cultural guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze and resolve language-specific issues in datasets, clarifying ambiguities and inconsistencies.
- Maintain detailed records of annotation guidelines and language decisions for team alignment.
- Deliver constructive feedback on data annotation quality and process improvements.
- Contribute to training sessions and documentation to elevate the team’s French language expertise.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Native-level proficiency in French, with outstanding command of written and spoken communication.
- Demonstrated experience in data annotation, linguistic analysis, or related fields.
- Deep understanding of French cultural context and contemporary language usage.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with complex linguistic data.
- Strong ability to communicate linguistic nuances clearly in both written and verbal formats.
- Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage part-time, remote work effectively.
- Comfortable using annotation tools and digital communication platforms in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with AI, machine learning, or natural language processing projects.
