This remote role is ideal for a passionate counselor with a minimum of four years' experience who excels at both written and verbal communication, and is committed to making a lasting impact in the lives of students and professionals.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide individualized academic, personal, and career counseling to clients, helping them identify strengths and pathways for achievement.
  2. Develop and implement personalized guidance plans to support students and professionals in meeting their educational and career objectives.
  3. Conduct assessments to determine client interests, aptitudes, and goals, and offer actionable advice for decision-making.
  4. Create engaging workshops and digital resources on topics such as goal setting, career exploration, and personal development.
  5. Maintain accurate documentation of counseling sessions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with industry standards and confidentiality requirements.
  6. Collaborate with educators, employers, and stakeholders to stay informed of evolving opportunities and resources for clients.
  7. Continuously evaluate and improve counseling strategies based on feedback and measurable outcomes.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Minimum 4 years of experience in educational, guidance, or career counseling with a proven record of success.
  2. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport remotely.
  3. Strong counseling skills, including active listening, empathy, and solution-focused problem-solving.
  4. Proficiency in using digital counseling tools, documentation platforms, and virtual communication technologies.
  5. Ability to work independently and adapt to changing client needs in a dynamic remote environment.
  6. Commitment to ethical counseling practices, maintaining confidentiality and client-centered approaches.
  7. Demonstrated achievement or recognition in the field of counseling, guidance, or career advisement.


Preferred Qualifications

  1. Advanced certifications in counseling or career development.
  2. Experience designing remote learning or career development programs.
  3. Background in working with diverse or international client populations.
