Key Responsibilities :

  1. Analyze and interpret meteorological data from weather maps, radar, and satellite imagery to produce accurate forecasts.
  2. Communicate complex weather findings in a clear, concise manner for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  3. Monitor evolving weather systems and issue timely alerts regarding severe or unusual conditions.
  4. Collaborate with team members to develop and improve forecasting models and methodologies.
  5. Create detailed written reports and presentations on weather events and trends.
  6. Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in meteorological science and technology.
  7. Support the customer’s team with expert advice for decision-making in weather-sensitive activities.


Required Skills and Qualifications :

  1. In-depth knowledge of weather systems and atmospheric processes.
  2. Proven experience interpreting weather maps, radar, and satellite data.
  3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  5. Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining effective collaboration with team members.
  6. Proficiency in meteorological software and data analysis tools.
  7. Strong organizational and time-management abilities.


Preferred Qualifications :

  1. Advanced degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or related field.
  2. Previous experience in a remote meteorological role.
  3. Familiarity with climate modeling and disaster risk analysis.
