In this unique role, you will leverage your hands-on experience in investigative work to train AI models, ensuring high standards of accuracy and relevance in real-world scenarios. Be a subject matter expert (SME) and contribute to developing next-generation solutions for the private investigations field.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with data scientists and AI developers to provide domain-specific knowledge for AI training datasets.
  • Review, analyze, and validate data related to private investigations to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Develop realistic investigative scenarios and case studies to enhance AI learning modules.
  • Compile, summarize, and report information on individuals or organizations, assisting in AI modeling of investigative processes.
  • Assess AI outputs, identify gaps, and give actionable feedback for continuous model improvement.
  • Document investigative processes, best practices, and industry standards for training purposes.
  • Act as a key communication liaison, translating field expertise into clear, actionable guidance for technical teams.



Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Private Investigator, Loss Prevention Detective, Field Investigator, or similar role.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must, with an ability to distill complex information clearly.
  • Hands-on knowledge in gathering, analyzing, and compiling investigative reports.
  • Experience detecting unlawful acts or rule infractions in private establishments.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with acute attention to detail.
  • Comfort working independently in a remote, part-time environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with technical or multi-disciplinary teams.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts and their application in investigations.
  • Previous experience as a subject matter expert (SME) for AI training or data annotation projects.
  • Relevant certifications in private investigations or asset protection.
