Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as a Chemical Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of intelligent chemical engineering solutions. You will leverage your industry expertise to train cutting-edge AI systems, ensuring they accurately reflect real-world processes, safety protocols, and optimization strategies. This remote position offers the opportunity to impact both technological advancement and operational safety in chemical manufacturing.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and document comprehensive safety procedures for workers operating chemical equipment or conducting reactions, ensuring robust adherence to regulatory standards.
  2. Troubleshoot and provide expert guidance on resolving challenges in chemical manufacturing processes by training AI models with practical scenarios.
  3. Monitor, analyze, and interpret experimental and process data to refine AI understanding and outputs.
  4. Evaluate and recommend improvements for chemical equipment and processes to optimize performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
  5. Design, plan, and review equipment layouts for efficiency, safety, and scalability, incorporating feedback into AI training datasets.
  6. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance communication between human experts and AI systems.
  7. Contribute to continuous improvement processes by identifying gaps in AI knowledge and providing targeted training materials.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
  2. Strong foundation in chemical process engineering, including safety standards and data analysis.
  3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to distill complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  4. Proficiency in troubleshooting and optimizing chemical manufacturing systems.
  5. Demonstrated experience in developing or applying safety protocols in chemical environments.
  6. Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and a passion for continuous learning.
  7. Comfortable working in a remote, collaborative setting using digital communication tools.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Prior experience in AI model training, machine learning, or related data-driven initiatives.
  2. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in chemical manufacturing (e.g., OSHA, EPA, REACH).
  3. Experience participating in cross-functional teams focused on safety and process optimization.
