Job Summary:
Join our customer’s team as a Senior Backend Engineer to architect and develop robust solutions leveraging Node.js, AWS, and cutting-edge AI technologies. You will play a pivotal role in designing scalable microservices, collaborating across disciplines, and driving backend excellence in a dynamic, fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of backend services using Node.js and AWS.
- Architect and implement microservices, ensuring scalability and reliability across distributed systems.
- Integrate Artificial Intelligence capabilities to enhance product functionality and user experience.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align backend solutions with product goals and technical requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and code standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex backend issues to maintain high system availability.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Expert proficiency in Node.js, with proven experience delivering production-grade backend systems.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services for application deployment, scalability, and monitoring.
- Strong experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
- Solid understanding of Artificial Intelligence integration in backend workflows.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Proven ability to work independently and take ownership in a remote, distributed team environment.
- Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Background in building secure, high-availability systems at scale.
- Previous exposure to Agile development methodologies.
