Job Summary:
Join our customer's team as a Truck Driver and play an integral role in safe and timely transportation across various routes. As an expert driver, you will utilize your extensive on-the-road experience and technological know-how to deliver excellence and uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate commercial vehicles for both long and short-distance routes as assigned by dispatch.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Utilize GPS navigation and mobile apps to optimize routes and delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members through written and verbal channels.
- Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, company safety protocols, and industry best practices.
- Maintain accurate records, including logbooks and delivery documentation.
- Proactively identify and report maintenance or safety issues to minimize downtime.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Driving License (Commercial Vehicle Preferred).
- Proven experience with both long and short-distance driving assignments.
- Intermediate proficiency with mobile apps such as GPS navigation systems and digital reporting tools.
- Basic knowledge of navigation techniques and standard safety protocols.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective team interaction.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability when handling transportation logistics.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to outlined schedules and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience handling diverse cargo or sensitive materials is a plus.
- Additional certifications in defensive driving or vehicle maintenance.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing safety and professional development.
