Key Responsibilities:
- Execute carpentry tasks including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials according to design specifications and project instructions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards on construction sites.
- Follow detailed plans and verbal directions to complete projects on time and to exacting standards.
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools proficiently and safely for framing, installation, and finished carpentry work.
- Inspect and maintain tools, materials, and work areas to uphold high standards of safety and cleanliness.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions with team members and supervisors through clear written and verbal updates.
- Contribute to problem-solving and innovation efforts, ensuring quality workmanship on every task.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive hands-on construction site experience in carpentry or general construction work.
- Proven ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a diverse team environment.
- Strong proficiency with basic hand and power tools applicable to carpentry.
- Solid understanding of workplace safety practices and procedures.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to report on work status and coordinate with the team.
- Demonstrated reliability, work ethic, and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Intermediate comfort with mobile apps for project tracking and communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in multiple areas of general construction beyond carpentry.
- Familiarity with digital construction management tools and technology.
- Evidence of craftsmanship and creative problem-solving on past projects.
