Job Summary:

Join our team as a SAP Environment Manager to lead the design, management, and evolution of our SAP technical landscape. In this pivotal role, you will oversee high-impact SAP S/4HANA implementation projects and champion our cloud transformation journey, collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure optimal environment performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the SAP BASIS team in managing, administering, and advancing the SAP environment for S/4HANA projects.
2. Oversee system installations, upgrades, migrations, and patch management across development, quality, pre-production, and production SAP landscapes.
3. Define and execute environment strategy, including refresh cycles, transport management, and cutover planning to ensure seamless project delivery.
4. Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to guarantee system availability, robust performance, and adherence to compliance standards.
5. Support RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) deployments and integrations.
6. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, job scheduling, and interface stability, leveraging automation and best-in-class monitoring tools.
7. Provide technical leadership during go-lives, disaster recovery drills, and system audits, while mentoring junior BASIS consultants and fostering best practices within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. 10–12 years of hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration, with at least three successful full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.
2. In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA system architecture, HANA database administration, and the SAP Transport Management System (TMS).
3. Proficiency with SAP Solution Manager, Focused Run, and SAP on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
4. Experience managing SAP BTP, SAP Landscape Management (LaMa), and SAP Maintenance Planner.
5. Expertise in developing environment strategy, technical upgrade planning, and clean core principles.
6. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with proven stakeholder management and team leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP S/4HANA System Administration.
2. Background working in regulated sectors such as Life Sciences, Banking, or Utilities.
3. Exposure to DevOps practices, automation, and advanced monitoring platforms (such as Grafana, Prometheus).
