We are seeking a professional who excels in real-world Shotcut workflows, with a proven ability to organize, refine, and deliver outstanding video projects. Your unique insights and expertise will directly influence how editing best practices are evaluated and understood.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Edit a variety of video projects using Shotcut in a collaborative, remote environment.
  2. Demonstrate and articulate your workflow, sequencing, and organizational strategies for video editing.
  3. Participate in workflow recordings, focusing on decision-making and project delivery nuances.
  4. Document editing processes and identify opportunities for workflow improvements.
  5. Collaborate with team members to analyze and refine video editing best practices.
  6. Ensure timely completion and delivery of all project milestones.
  7. Maintain high standards in project organization, file management, and communication.



Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Deep, hands-on expertise in Shotcut, with evidence of regular, professional use.
  2. Strong portfolio of completed, real-world video editing projects.
  3. Comprehensive understanding of video sequencing, editing techniques, and post-production workflows in Shotcut.
  4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain workflow decisions.
  5. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to project organization and delivery excellence.
  6. Proficiency in remote collaboration and digital communication tools.
  7. Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and deliver under tight deadlines.



Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience providing insights or training in video editing software, especially Shotcut.
