Job Summary

Join our customer’s team as a SAP ABAP Developer and play a pivotal role in driving SAP transformation projects across the Nordics. You will leverage your backend development expertise to build, enhance, and optimize SAP applications, directly contributing to innovative business solutions in both ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy custom ABAP applications, reports, and interfaces (Reports, BAPIs, BADI, Smart Forms, etc.)

• Collaborate closely with functional consultants in FI, SD, MM, and PP modules to translate business needs into robust solutions

• Develop and debug user exits, enhancement points, and workflow automations

• Optimize complex custom code for efficiency, scalability, and S/4HANA compatibility

• Manage integration with other systems using IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs

• Actively participate in the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to documentation and go-live

• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and internal development standards

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Fluent in English and at least one Scandinavian language (Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish)

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience

• Demonstrated full lifecycle SAP implementation experience

• Expertise in ABAP programming: Reports, ALV, Dialogs, Forms, Enhancements, and BAPIs

• Strong knowledge of integration methods (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs)

• Proficient in collaborating within cross-functional teams (FI/MM/SD)

• Familiarity with Git, SAP transport management, and debugging tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with S/4HANA technologies, including ABAP for HANA, CDS views, AMDPs, and OData

• Exposure to Fiori/UI5 integration

• Knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) or CAP
