Job Summary:
Join our customer's team as a Physicist, leveraging your advanced expertise to drive innovative solutions across a variety of scientific and technical projects. You will collaborate with a cross-disciplinary group of STEM professionals, tackling complex challenges and contributing to high-impact research. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work on the forefront of scientific discovery from anywhere in the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute theoretical and experimental research in key areas of physics relevant to the project needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary experts to integrate physics-based methodologies into broader technical initiatives.
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets, ensuring rigorous scientific standards and accuracy.
- Author comprehensive technical reports and scientific papers, communicating findings to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the identification and development of innovative approaches to solve emerging scientific problems.
- Mentor and guide junior STEM team members as needed, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Participate in virtual meetings, presenting research outcomes and recommendations clearly and effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- PhD in Physics or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of professional or research experience in the field.
- Demonstrated expertise in applying physics concepts to solve real-world problems.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to distill complex ideas for diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and computational skills, with proficiency in relevant scientific programming and statistical tools.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines in a remote work environment.
- Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional STEM teams.
- Detail-oriented, innovative, and passionate about scientific advancement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals or presentations at major physics conferences.
- Broad knowledge of emerging trends in physics and related scientific fields.
- Experience working with interdisciplinary research teams in an international setting.
