Job Summary:
Join our team of Shovel Operators and play a vital role in large-scale mining and earthmoving operations. They ensure the safe, efficient handling of advanced shovel equipment while upholding our commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy shovel machinery, including Caterpillar 6030 and Terex RH120, to move earth and materials efficiently and safely.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections, promptly reporting mechanical concerns or safety issues to maintenance and supervision teams.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment, including keeping the machine cab organized and comfortable.
- Adhere strictly to company and manufacturer safety guidelines and operating procedures at all times.
- Execute assignments responsibly and complete tasks within set timelines to support project productivity goals.
- Communicate clearly in both written and verbal forms, ensuring effective coordination with team members and supervisors.
- Proactively identify and report unsafe conditions, contributing to a culture of safety on site.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Secondary education or higher.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating shovel or excavator equipment in mining or similar industries.
- Valid Philippine Heavy Vehicle Certificate.
- Strong commitment to safety, responsibility, and professionalism under pressure.
- Ability to interpret and follow written, verbal, and schematic instructions.
- Excellent teamwork and proactive communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise with Caterpillar 6030 Face Shovels and Terex RH120 Face Shovels/Backhoes.
- Experience working in an international or multicultural setting.
- Previous exposure to large-scale mining environments.
