Job Summary:

Join our team of Shovel Operators and play a vital role in large-scale mining and earthmoving operations. They ensure the safe, efficient handling of advanced shovel equipment while upholding our commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate heavy shovel machinery, including Caterpillar 6030 and Terex RH120, to move earth and materials efficiently and safely.
2. Conduct daily pre-operation inspections, promptly reporting mechanical concerns or safety issues to maintenance and supervision teams.
3. Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment, including keeping the machine cab organized and comfortable.
4. Adhere strictly to company and manufacturer safety guidelines and operating procedures at all times.
5. Execute assignments responsibly and complete tasks within set timelines to support project productivity goals.
6. Communicate clearly in both written and verbal forms, ensuring effective coordination with team members and supervisors.
7. Proactively identify and report unsafe conditions, contributing to a culture of safety on site.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Secondary education or higher.
2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating shovel or excavator equipment in mining or similar industries.
3. Valid Philippine Heavy Vehicle Certificate.
4. Strong commitment to safety, responsibility, and professionalism under pressure.
5. Ability to interpret and follow written, verbal, and schematic instructions.
6. Excellent teamwork and proactive communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Demonstrated expertise with Caterpillar 6030 Face Shovels and Terex RH120 Face Shovels/Backhoes.
2. Experience working in an international or multicultural setting.
3. Previous exposure to large-scale mining environments.
