Job Title: Junior AI Engineer

Job Summary:

Join our team as a Junior AI Engineer and help us push the boundaries of Generative AI applications. You’ll collaborate with passionate colleagues to design, build, and scale advanced GenAI systems that power innovative solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer eager to grow their skills while building impactful, production-grade AI features.


Responsibilities:


  1. Contribute to the development of GenAI applications such as answering engines, entity extraction tools, and summarization systems.
  2. Assist in building and debugging REST APIs using Python frameworks like FastAPI or Flask.
  3. Support RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines through tasks like data ingestion, embedding creation, and prompt testing.
  4. Work with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS) for data storage and retrieval.
  5. Experiment with prompt templates and LLMs (OpenAI, Mistral, etc.) under guidance from senior engineers.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GenAI modules into products.
  7. Learn cloud deployment basics using AWS or Azure and assist in model or API deployment.
  8. Stay curious about LangChain, LangGraph, and emerging AI frameworks.


Must-have Skills:


  1. Python: Proficient with the language. Able to write, test, and debug code.
  2. API Development: Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or equivalent.
  3. GenAI Basics: Exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, and simple RAG use cases.
  4. Cloud/DevOps: Familiarity with one major cloud platform (AWS or Azure).
  5. Version Control: Git fundamentals and collaborative development.


Good-to-have Skills:


  1. Familiarity with LangChain or LangGraph.
  2. Experience working with embeddings and vector databases.
  3. Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker).
  4. Curiosity about agents and autonomous AI systems.
