Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and optimize game scenarios utilizing MonoGame, libGDX, and/or Cocos2d-x frameworks.
- Collaborate with AI researchers to develop and refine environments used for training advanced AI agents.
- Translate gameplay requirements into scalable, reusable code components.
- Debug and enhance existing codebases, ensuring quality, efficiency, and performance.
- Document technical designs and workflows clearly to support knowledge transfer across the team.
- Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and sharing expertise in game framework best practices.
- Effectively communicate progress and challenges through strong written and verbal skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Professional experience developing games with MonoGame, libGDX, or Cocos2d-x.
- Strong programming skills in C#, C++, and Java, with the ability to adapt to related languages and technologies.
- Solid understanding of game architecture, optimization techniques, and cross-platform development.
- Proven ability to collaborate in a remote, distributed team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills—clear articulation is a must.
- Proficiency in debugging complex systems and maintaining clean, efficient code.
- Enthusiasm for leveraging game frameworks in support of AI research initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience working on AI agent or machine learning projects within a gaming or simulation context.
- Familiarity with the basics of AI model training and reinforcement learning environments.
- Contributions to open-source projects or gaming communities.
