Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll collaborate closely with our Head of Engineering, spearheading the technical strategy to enhance our user experience. This role is pivotal in championing technology selection and fostering best practices for our app and web development. Your passion for coding and technical excellence will drive innovation within our codebase as you build out our product.
Tech Stack:
Our tech stack is mostly TypeScript, allowing engineers to implement end-to-end functionality. On the frontend we use Angular/Ionic and on the backend Firebase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to execute product and business strategies.
- Contribute to all stages of the development cycle including design, testing, and launch.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on design docs, specs, and mocks.
- Execute the product roadmap, ensuring seamless interaction between customer and our product.
- Maintain and enhance world-class product velocity.
- Communicate consistently with leadership, fostering trust in code quality and product delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Over 6-7+ years of active coding experience with a current focus on coding.
- Experience building scalable iOS and Android consumer applications ideally with Ionic.
- Proficiency in Typescript and the ability to code in multiple languages.
- Expertise in front-end, back-end, and DevOps technologies.
- Strong organizational skills and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
- Self-motivated and a desire to work in a high velocity, async environment.
- You live and breathe the startup mentality, fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with geo-based dynamic pricing and cloud service metrics.
- Self-motivated with a drive for innovation and building new solutions.
