Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as a Video Editor, specializing in Linux-based post-production workflows using Cinelerra. In this expert-level role, you will leverage your advanced technical skills to train next-generation AI models while working on high-resolution video projects in a fully remote setting.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Edit high-resolution media and manage complex timelines within Cinelerra on Linux.
  2. Implement advanced compositing, motion tracking, and rendering pipelines to ensure broadcast-quality outputs.
  3. Collaborate with AI development teams to provide nuanced feedback and data for model training.
  4. Optimize video editing workflows and troubleshoot technical bottlenecks in post-production processes.
  5. Document best practices and contribute to the creation of AI training datasets.
  6. Communicate findings and progress effectively via written and verbal reports to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  7. Maintain an organized project structure for seamless integration with AI-powered video editing initiatives.



Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Expert proficiency in Cinelerra and Linux-based editing environments.
  2. Extensive knowledge of advanced video editing, compositing, and motion tracking techniques.
  3. Proven experience handling high-resolution media and complex rendering pipelines.
  4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  6. Ability to work independently and remotely within a collaborative, cross-functional team.
  7. Comfort with documenting processes and contributing to technical datasets for AI model training.



Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience optimizing Linux systems for professional broadcast workflows.
  2. Background in training or collaborating on AI agent projects.
  3. Familiarity with other professional-grade video editing or open-source post-production tools.
