Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as a Contract Law & Negotiation Attorney - AI Trainer and leverage your legal expertise to shape the next generation of AI solutions in contract law. This unique part-time, remote position empowers you to directly influence the legal intelligence of AI by developing, reviewing, and interpreting complex commercial agreements, as well as refining negotiation and compliance strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Draft, review, and interpret commercial contracts to ensure legal accuracy, clarity, and alignment with organizational interests.
  2. Develop and articulate negotiation strategies to optimize contract terms and manage counterpart expectations.
  3. Identify, assess, and communicate legal, financial, and operational risks in agreements, recommending robust mitigation tactics.
  4. Ensure contract compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  5. Provide expert insights to enhance the performance of AI models in understanding and processing contract law scenarios.
  6. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to translate legal knowledge into AI-focused training materials and workflows.
  7. Deliver clear, concise written and verbal communication to convey legal concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree and an active license to practice law.
  2. At least 3 years of experience as a Contract Law Attorney with a focus on commercial contracts.
  3. Proven expertise in contract drafting, review, and nuanced interpretation.
  4. Demonstrated negotiation skills, including strategy, execution, and the ability to achieve favorable outcomes.
  5. Advanced proficiency in legal risk assessment and development of effective mitigation plans.
  6. In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks governing contractual relationships.
  7. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and legal precision.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience collaborating with technology or AI-focused teams.
  2. Background in training, mentoring, or knowledge transfer within legal or corporate environments.
  3. Familiarity with legal technology tools or contract management systems.
