Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team at Miral. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network infrastructure to support our fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage secure, reliable enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, VOIP, and wireless networks.
- Administer, configure, and support network hardware/software from leading vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, and Fortinet.
- Monitor network performance and security events, analyze incidents, and execute incident response with both internal and external teams.
- Drive network infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and expansions, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to develop network solutions that align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and participate in audits to ensure adherence to corporate policy and international standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, processes, and compliance procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Industry certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, and ITIL.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in network administration and management roles.
- Proficient in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs), routing, switching, and all OSI layers.
- Experience with network monitoring/management tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG).
- Strong grasp of network security principles, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.
- Exceptional written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in an asynchronous, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Project Management certification (Waterfall and Agile).
- ISO27001 certification and knowledge of PCI, GDPR, ISO, and UAE security regulations.
- 2+ years’ experience leading network and security projects in enterprise environments.
