Job Title: Transition Project Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Transition Project Manager (PM) to lead the end-to-end execution of Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) or equivalent transition programs. The PM will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing transition activities including setup, knowledge transfer, stabilization, and final handover to operations, ensuring zero disruption to business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define transition scope, approach, success criteria, and timelines during the Build Phase (less than 5%).
• Coordinate service go-live readiness, and manage daily governance and issue resolution in the Operate Phase (~50%).
• Execute operational readiness and lead reverse knowledge transfer during the Transfer Phase (~50%).
• Maintain detailed project plans, RAID logs, and status dashboards.
• Drive stakeholder governance and ensure timely communication with senior leadership.
• Apply change and risk management frameworks throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field; PMP/PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
• 6+ years of project management experience, with at least 2–3 transitions delivered end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of BOT, outsourcing, shared services, or global delivery models.
• Experience working with third-party vendors, global teams, and matrixed organizations.
• Proficient in MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, or other project management tools.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in IT, BPO, Pharma, BFSI, or Technology-enabled service transitions.
• Exposure to setting up delivery centers or GICs (Global In-house Centers).
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow, SAP, or enterprise-grade systems is a plus.
