Job Title: Senior Azure Infrastructure Administrator (Immediate Joiners - 6 Month Contract)

Job Type: Full-time, 6-month contract (renewable to long-term)

Location: On-site, Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi Region

Job Summary:

Join our team as a Senior Azure Infrastructure Administrator and play a pivotal role in deploying, managing, and securing Azure-based infrastructure for a leading organization in Abu Dhabi. This hands-on, on-site position is ideal for technical experts who thrive in a fast-paced, asynchronous work culture emphasizing written communication. Immediate joiners currently based in the UAE are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement, administer, and operate PaaS-based infrastructure and critical workloads on Microsoft Azure.
2. Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for cloud services and platform components.
3. Configure, monitor, and support Azure services such as Web Apps, Application Gateway, and API Management.
4. Analyze and remediate security incidents, conduct vulnerability assessments, and maintain compliance with security and regulatory standards (GDPR, corporate policy).
5. Automate infrastructure tasks using DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, PowerShell).
6. Create dashboards and log aggregation solutions for proactive application health monitoring.
7. Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate security, coordinate incident response, and support audit and compliance initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
2. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
3. ITIL Certification.
4. Minimum 5 years of experience in Azure Administration roles, with proven expertise in cloud computing architectures.
5. Deep technical knowledge of Azure services (compute, storage, networking, security, identity) and related tools (ARM, Azure VMs, Azure AD, Azure Networking).
6. Hands-on experience with automation (Azure DevOps, PowerShell) and backup/disaster recovery for enterprise environments.
7. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong written communication skills suitable for an async, documentation-driven culture.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. MBA or Project Management Certification (Waterfall/Agile).
2. ISO27001 certification, and knowledge of PCI DSS, ISO, and UAE security regulations.
3. Experience leading Azure projects and a solid grasp of information security operations and governance.
