Job Summary:
Join our customer's team as a Nuclear Engineer - AI Trainer and leverage your expertise to develop cutting-edge AI solutions for the nuclear energy sector. You will play a crucial role in shaping intelligent systems that improve safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency in the evolving energy landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Annotate, validate, and refine technical data and documentation related to nuclear energy and safety protocols.
- Model expert decision-making processes in reactor operation, risk analysis, and complex system design for AI training.
- Deliver high-quality, structured feedback to enhance the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of training data.
- Support the integration of AI into engineering calculations, licensing workflows, and emergency preparedness scenarios.
- Ensure alignment of AI outputs with industry standards, NRC/IAEA regulations, and best practices in nuclear operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate intricate nuclear concepts into accessible, actionable AI knowledge.
- Champion a safety-centric and compliant approach throughout the AI development lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of direct experience in nuclear engineering roles such as Reactor Engineer, Safety Analyst, or similar positions.
- Deep expertise in thermodynamics, reactor systems operation, and nuclear regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex technical material with clarity and precision.
- Demonstrated attention to detail in safety analysis, compliance, and system design documentation.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in risk assessment and technical decision-making.
- Ability to work independently in a remote team environment while driving collaborative outcomes.
- Passion for innovation and advancing nuclear technology through digital transformation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with digital twins, advanced simulation platforms, or AI/ML applications in the energy sector.
- Familiarity with NRC or IAEA compliance documentation and regulatory processes.
- Background in training, coaching, or mentoring junior engineers in technical domains.
