Job Title: Transcriptionist - AI trainer

Job Type: Contract (Full-Time or Part-time)

Job Summary

Join our customer's team as a Transcriptionist and play a vital role in transforming audio and video content into accurate, readable, and well-structured text. This is a remote position perfect for detail-oriented professionals with a passion for language and exceptional communication skills. The project requires a high level of precision and clarity, ensuring every word and speaker is correctly captured.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Transcribe audio and video recordings into clear, accurate, and well-formatted text documents.
  2. Carefully edit transcriptions for grammar, punctuation, and context, maintaining a native-level command of English.
  3. Label and timestamp speakers within the transcription to ensure clarity around who is speaking and when.
  4. Review and revise automated transcripts to enhance accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  5. Maintain confidentiality and securely handle sensitive information at all times.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Native-level proficiency in English, with strong command over grammar and vocabulary.
  2. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering error-free work.
  3. Proven ability to type accurately and efficiently, meeting required turnaround times.
  4. Demonstrated active listening skills to capture nuanced details from varied recordings.
  5. Experience with transcription tools and software.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to provide clear status updates.
  7. Ability to work independently, stay organized, and meet project deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications

  1. Background as a court reporter or general transcriptionist in legal, medical, or media domains.
  2. Familiarity with labeling and annotation of video content.
  3. Experience editing transcriptions with speaker identification and precise timestamps.
