Job Summary
Join our customer's team as a Transcriptionist and play a vital role in transforming audio and video content into accurate, readable, and well-structured text. This is a remote position perfect for detail-oriented professionals with a passion for language and exceptional communication skills. The project requires a high level of precision and clarity, ensuring every word and speaker is correctly captured.
Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio and video recordings into clear, accurate, and well-formatted text documents.
- Carefully edit transcriptions for grammar, punctuation, and context, maintaining a native-level command of English.
- Label and timestamp speakers within the transcription to ensure clarity around who is speaking and when.
- Review and revise automated transcripts to enhance accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain confidentiality and securely handle sensitive information at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Native-level proficiency in English, with strong command over grammar and vocabulary.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering error-free work.
- Proven ability to type accurately and efficiently, meeting required turnaround times.
- Demonstrated active listening skills to capture nuanced details from varied recordings.
- Experience with transcription tools and software.

Preferred Qualifications
- Background as a court reporter or general transcriptionist in legal, medical, or media domains.
- Familiarity with labeling and annotation of video content.
- Experience editing transcriptions with speaker identification and precise timestamps.
