Job Summary:
Join our team as a Retool AI Agent Developer and help redefine how we automate and accelerate core business workflows. In this role, you’ll leverage Retool’s new AI Agent interface, integrating cutting-edge APIs and intelligent automation tools to create dynamic, self-driving solutions. If you are passionate about turning manual processes into efficient, AI-powered workflows, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy intelligent agents using Retool’s AI Agent platform for workflow automation.
- Integrate third-party services, such as Browser-Use.com’s Cloud API, along with custom scripts and low-code tools to extend agent capabilities.
- Collaborate with operators and product managers to translate business challenges into actionable agent playbooks.
- Build robust, maintainable agents that handle tasks like data extraction, API orchestration, decision-making, and user notifications.
- Prototype new agent features rapidly and iterate based on feedback and evolving team needs.
- Document agent flows, technical decisions, and provide clear written communication in our async, remote-first culture.
- Troubleshoot and optimize agent performance to ensure reliability and scalability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Retool and low-code/no-code automation tools.
- Hands-on expertise in developing and integrating AI agents for workflow automation.
- Strong proficiency in API integrations and custom scripting (e.g., using Puppeteer).
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document agent logic and collaborate asynchronously.
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on solutions.
- Deep curiosity about AI, automation, and emerging technologies.
- Self-motivated and highly collaborative, able to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Browser-Use.com’s Cloud API or similar browser automation tools.
- Background in designing intelligent workflows or process automation for dynamic teams.
- Familiarity with agile development practices and rapid deployment cycles.
