Job Summary
We’re looking for a Pixel Artist who enjoys creating animations and wants to be part of something a bit different.
In this role, you’ll not only build high-quality pixel art and animations, but also help train AI by sharing how you think and work. You’ll capture parts of your creative process and explain your decisions- helping shape how AI understands real-world artistic workflows.
If you enjoy working independently, experimenting with animation, and breaking down your process, this is a great fit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create pixel art assets and animations from concept to final export
- Design sprites, tilesets, UI elements, and other 2D game assets
- Animate characters and objects using standard pixel art workflows
- Capture your workflow (screen recording and/or written/voice explanations)
- Explain your creative decisions, techniques, and approach in a clear way
- Collaborate with a remote team and follow simple project guidelines
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong experience with pixel art and animation
- Comfortable using tools like LibreSprite, Aseprite, or similar
- A portfolio that shows your pixel art and animation work
- Ability to work independently and manage your own tasks
- Clear communication — able to explain how and why you create things
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience creating assets for games or interactive projects
- Familiarity with sprite sheets, tilesets, and animation workflows
- Experience recording tutorials, walkthroughs, or explaining your work
- Interest in AI, creative tools, or emerging tech
