Job Summary
Join our customer’s dynamic team as a Vietnamese Language Expert and play a vital role in ensuring high linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance within data annotation workflows. This flexible, part-time remote position is ideal for language professionals who are detail-oriented, communicative, and eager to contribute to AI-driven language projects from anywhere in the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Annotate and label Vietnamese language data with high accuracy and consistency.
- Review, edit, and validate annotated datasets to ensure quality standards are met.
- Provide linguistic and cultural insights to support accurate data interpretation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify project requirements and resolve language-related issues.
- Identify linguistic nuances, ambiguities, and potential challenges within Vietnamese data.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of annotation guidelines and best practices.
- Communicate findings, feedback, and recommendations clearly in both written and verbal formats.
- Participate in remote meetings to share expertise and support ongoing language-related discussions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Native or near-native proficiency in Vietnamese with a strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and idiomatic usage.
- Professional-level English proficiency for communication and documentation.
- Experience in data annotation, linguistic quality assurance, translation, transcription, or related language roles.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and consistency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms used for annotation and remote collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working on AI training, NLP, or language model–related projects.
- Educational background in linguistics, translation, language studies, or a related field.
- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced and evolving project environments.
