Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as Physics (Astrophysics or Cosmology or Astronomy) - AI Trainer, where your expertise will directly shape the next generation of artificial intelligence within the physical sciences. This unique role offers the opportunity to combine your knowledge in astrophysics and cosmology with innovative AI projects, helping to advance the frontiers of research and technology.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, review, and refine AI training materials focused on astrophysics and cosmology topics.
  2. Collaborate with data scientists and AI developers to ensure technical accuracy and scientific integrity in project deliverables.
  3. Provide detailed feedback on AI outputs, addressing misconceptions or errors in scientific content.
  4. Design and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance AI comprehension of complex physical phenomena.
  5. Translate complex astrophysical concepts into clear, actionable insights for AI system improvement.
  6. Contribute to ongoing AI model evaluation by assessing its understanding of advanced theoretical constructs.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging research in astrophysics, cosmology or Astronomy to inform AI enhancements.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. PhD in Physics, Astrophysics or Cosmology or Astronomy or closely related field.
  2. Deep understanding of theoretical and observational astrophysics and cosmology and Astronomy.
  3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and precision.
  4. Experience in teaching or mentoring in scientific or technical domains.
  5. Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities for evaluating complex scientific information.
  6. Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or data-driven research environments.
  7. Demonstrated ability to distill and communicate intricate scientific concepts to diverse audiences.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Hands-on experience with AI model training, evaluation, or prompt engineering.
  2. Prior involvement in interdisciplinary projects bridging physical science and technology.
  3. Publications or presentations in reputed astrophysics or cosmology or Astronomy forums.
