What You'll Do:
- Lead the development, strategy, and execution of the robotics data engine department.
- Conduct and oversee cutting-edge research on robotics software and data-driven solutions.
- Design and implement robust processes for managing, analyzing, and deriving insights from large-scale robotics data.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and leadership teams to align robotics data initiatives with business objectives.
- Recruit, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of robotics data specialists and engineers.
- Establish best practices for data handling, security, and compliance within the robotics context.
- Communicate research progress, technical concepts, and strategic updates clearly and effectively to stakeholders, including the CEO.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in robotics research, robotics software engineering, or working extensively with robotics-related data.
- Deep familiarity with robotics software frameworks, algorithms, and data processing pipelines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for clear, effective documentation and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated leadership in building or scaling technical teams and departments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in data-centric environments.
- Ability to bridge technical and business perspectives, translating research into actionable strategies.
