Job Summary:

Join our team of Excavator Operators and bring your expertise to a dynamic, safety-focused environment. They operate state-of-the-art hydraulic excavators to perform crucial earthmoving, trenching, and foundation work on a variety of construction projects across Japan. As integral members of our operations, their attention to detail and strong communication skills ensure seamless execution and project success.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Skillfully operate hydraulic excavators to dig trenches, prepare foundations, and move earth according to project specifications.
  2. Interpret and follow site plans, blueprints, and instructions from supervisors with accuracy and precision.
  3. Conduct daily inspections and perform basic maintenance on excavation equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  4. Work collaboratively with other team members to meet project deadlines and objectives.
  5. Strictly adhere to company safety protocols, regulations, and environmental guidelines at all times.
  6. Communicate effectively with site supervisors and crew members through both written reports and verbal updates.
  7. Identify and report equipment faults or safety hazards promptly to minimize project interruptions.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience operating hydraulic excavators in a construction or civil engineering environment.
  2. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proactive approach to teamwork.
  3. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical documentation.
  4. Keen attention to safety, with thorough knowledge of on-site safety procedures and risk management.
  5. Physical fitness and stamina to operate heavy machinery in various weather conditions.
  6. Ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on excavator equipment.
  7. Valid operator’s certification/license as required by Japanese regulations.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience on large-scale or high-profile construction projects in Japan.
  2. Basic proficiency in Japanese language for workplace communication.
  3. Additional certifications in heavy equipment operation or safety training.
