This unique, remote role allows you to shape the future of construction compliance by providing real-world insights and high-quality data to train advanced AI models.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Evaluate and annotate construction and building inspection data to support AI training and development.
  2. Collaborate with AI engineers to identify key industry concepts, standards, and compliance requirements.
  3. Review and interpret building plans, blueprints, and specifications as part of data enrichment tasks.
  4. Provide subject matter expertise to ensure training materials align with industry best practices and regulations.
  5. Document processes, guidelines, and decision rationales for AI model optimization.
  6. Communicate findings and feedback clearly through written reports and virtual meetings.
  7. Assist in the continuous improvement of model accuracy by sharing hands-on inspection scenarios and case studies.



Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Proven experience as a Construction and Building Inspector or in a closely related field.
  2. Deep understanding of construction standards, safety codes, and regulatory requirements.
  3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
  4. Attention to detail and analytical thinking for data review and annotation.
  5. Strong digital literacy and ability to work effectively in virtual/remote environments.
  6. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  7. Commitment to accuracy, reliability, and knowledge-sharing.



Preferred Qualifications

  1. Previous experience contributing to AI, technology, or data science projects.
  2. Professional certifications in construction inspection (e.g., ICC, NFPA, or equivalent).
  3. Experience in training or mentoring within the construction or building inspection sector.
