Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and annotate construction and building inspection data to support AI training and development.
- Collaborate with AI engineers to identify key industry concepts, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Review and interpret building plans, blueprints, and specifications as part of data enrichment tasks.
- Provide subject matter expertise to ensure training materials align with industry best practices and regulations.
- Document processes, guidelines, and decision rationales for AI model optimization.
- Communicate findings and feedback clearly through written reports and virtual meetings.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of model accuracy by sharing hands-on inspection scenarios and case studies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction and Building Inspector or in a closely related field.
- Deep understanding of construction standards, safety codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking for data review and annotation.
- Strong digital literacy and ability to work effectively in virtual/remote environments.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Commitment to accuracy, reliability, and knowledge-sharing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience contributing to AI, technology, or data science projects.
- Professional certifications in construction inspection (e.g., ICC, NFPA, or equivalent).
- Experience in training or mentoring within the construction or building inspection sector.
