Key Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced computer science and physics knowledge to analyze, model, and solve multi-disciplinary technical problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and drive research initiatives forward.
- Design, implement, and optimize algorithms and computational models relevant to various complex domains.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring high standards in technical deliverables.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and their applicability to ongoing or future projects.
- Author comprehensive technical documentation and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactively identify potential risks and propose effective mitigation strategies in project workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a Computer Science expert or in a closely related field.
- Advanced knowledge of physics, with proven expertise across multiple domains (e.g., classical mechanics, quantum theory, computational physics).
- Demonstrated proficiency in algorithm design, data structures, and complex computational problem-solving.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Experience with modeling, simulation, and data analysis techniques.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, distributed team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD or equivalent advanced degree in Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring technical teams in a research or applied science setting.
- Familiarity with high-performance computing or cloud-based research environments.
