Join our customer's team as an Econometric Data Analyst (Stata SE), where you will leverage your expertise in advanced econometric modeling and Stata SE to deliver impactful, reproducible research solutions. You will tackle complex datasets, optimize workflows, and translate data-driven insights for academic and policy-driven environments. This is a unique opportunity for a Stata SE expert to contribute to high-impact projects from a fully remote setting.


Key Responsibilities


  1. Design and implement advanced econometric models using Stata SE, with a focus on panel data and causal inference techniques.
  2. Develop, maintain, and optimize do-files for efficient data management, analysis automation, and reproducible workflows.
  3. Conduct rigorous data cleaning, transformation, and validation of large-scale datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  4. Deliver clear, actionable insights through well-documented code, technical reports, and presentations tailored for academic and policy stakeholders.
  5. Collaborate closely with our customer's team to understand project objectives, communicate findings, and iterate on analysis as needed.
  6. Stay updated on best practices in econometric research and Stata SE functionalities, proactively sharing knowledge with peers.
  7. Ensure that all research outputs meet high standards of reproducibility, transparency, and ethical data handling.



Required Skills and Qualifications


  1. Expert proficiency in Stata SE with demonstrated experience in econometric modeling and automation via do-files.
  2. Advanced understanding of panel data analysis, causal inference methods, and large dataset optimization techniques.
  3. Strong skills in data cleaning, preparation, and validation for complex statistical analysis.
  4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to clarity and detail.
  5. Proven ability to document processes and present findings to diverse audiences in academic or policy contexts.
  6. Experience in producing reproducible research outputs and ensuring high standards of analytic integrity.
  7. Self-motivated, organized, and capable of thriving in a fully remote environment.



Preferred Qualifications


  1. Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  2. Prior experience collaborating on projects for academic or policy-focused institutions.
  3. Familiarity with complementary statistical tools or programming languages (e.g., R, Python) is a plus.
