You will drive strategic risk management initiatives, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations while proactively identifying vulnerabilities within digital commerce environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise in E-commerce risk, fraud prevention, and compliance operations.
- Support the refinement of policies related to chargebacks, disputes, refunds, and marketplace enforcement.
- Evaluate risk processes for accuracy, consistency, and regulatory alignment.
- Collaborate with operations, customer support, and leadership teams to structure scalable compliance workflows.
- Develop documentation and best practices for risk mitigation and policy enforcement.
- Stay up to date with evolving E-commerce regulations, payments compliance standards, and marketplace policies.
- Communicate complex risk and compliance concepts clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Risk, Fraud, or Compliance within E-commerce, digital marketplaces, or online payments environments.
- Strong knowledge of chargebacks, disputes, KYC, AML (where applicable), and fraud detection processes.
- Experience working with marketplace governance or digital platform policy enforcement.
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills (near-native or fluent required).
- Strong analytical mindset and detail-oriented approach.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in remote environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience in large-scale e-commerce operations or high-growth digital businesses.
- Experience in high-growth DTC brands, marketplaces, or fintech/payment platforms.
- Background in building or scaling risk review processes.
- Exposure to regulated environments involving digital payments or cross-border commerce.
- Experience working in consulting or advisory capacities.
