As a detail-oriented professional, you’ll be responsible for upholding community standards, nurturing interactions, and ensuring our brand voice resonates across our community. This is an exciting opportunity to work remotely while building your expertise in community and social media management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, review, and moderate user-generated content to ensure alignment with community guidelines and brand values.
  • Engage proactively with users to foster a safe, supportive, and vibrant online environment in the micro1 community.
  • Identify and escalate potential issues, conflicts, or trends to the appropriate internal teams promptly.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and community teams to support campaigns, events, and content initiatives.
  • Craft and maintain clear, timely written and verbal responses to community queries or concerns.
  • Analyze community activity data and provide insights to inform moderation strategies and enhance engagement.
  • Contribute to evolving best practices and recommendations for community moderation processes.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in community moderation, social media management, community management, or marketing.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to enforce guidelines consistently and fairly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; demonstrates clarity, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, online forums, and moderation tools.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced digital environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for building positive online communities.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience moderating technology-focused or startup communities.
  • Exposure to analytics tools and reporting on community health metrics.
  • Interest in contributing to marketing strategy and content initiatives as part of a broader team approach.
