Job Title: Video Reasoning Annotator

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Location: Remote


Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as a Video Reasoning Annotator, where you'll play a pivotal role in advancing multimodal and 360° AI technologies. This cross-disciplinary position merges expertise from video annotation, filmmaking, AI research, and more to develop cutting-edge datasets and reasoning strategies that fuel the next generation of machine learning models.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and annotate complex video content with a focus on multimodal reasoning and contextual understanding.
  2. Collaborate with research and engineering teams to define annotation guidelines and best practices for diverse visual and audio inputs.
  3. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality annotation datasets that inform AI model training and evaluation.
  4. Engage in cross-disciplinary research involving film, screenwriting, and AI to enhance annotation depth and diversity.
  5. Provide detailed feedback and insights to improve annotation protocols and data quality.
  6. Communicate findings and challenges through clear, concise written and verbal reports.
  7. Stay current with advancements in AI, video reasoning, and annotation methodologies.



Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Demonstrated experience in video annotation, analysis, or multimodal data processing.
  2. Strong research orientation with a cross-disciplinary mindset—bridging technology and creative fields.
  3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
  4. Keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate annotations.
  5. Background in one or more of the following: senior video annotation, filmmaking, screenwriting, AI research, LLM research, machine learning engineering, or applied research.
  6. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a remote, global team.
  7. Adaptability and enthusiasm for exploring novel annotation challenges within 360° and multimodal AI contexts.



Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with 360° video, multimodal datasets, or state-of-the-art AI/ML research environments.
  2. Familiarity with annotation tools, video editing software, or scripting languages for automation.
  3. Published research or creative work related to video, AI, or data annotation.
