Join our customer's team as an Arabic Language Expert (Saudi) and play a pivotal role in enhancing multilingual language resources. This part-time, remote opportunity is ideal for native Saudi Arabic speakers who are passionate about language, cultural authenticity, and effective communication. Utilize your linguistic expertise to deliver high-quality audio samples and precise transcriptions for an impactful language learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record a variety of audio phrases in native Saudi Arabic using your own device, contributing to a diverse audio database.
- Submit clear, accurate transcriptions of all recorded phrases, ensuring linguistic precision and cultural relevance.
- Collaborate remotely with the customer's team to receive instructions, provide feedback, and deliver completed tasks.
- Demonstrate professional written and verbal communication skills throughout all team engagements.
- Maintain deadlines and manage task priorities efficiently in a part-time, flexible work structure.
- Ensure the authenticity of language usage, reflecting true Saudi dialect and expressions.
- Promote diversity in recordings by utilizing different microphones or smartphones as available.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Native proficiency in Saudi Arabic, with a deep understanding of local dialects and cultural nuances.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Demonstrated ability to transcribe spoken language accurately and efficiently.
- Comfort working independently in a remote, part-time environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to linguistic quality and consistency.
- Multilingual abilities, with proficiency in English to follow project guidelines and team communications.
- Ability to use a range of audio recording devices (no restriction on equipment quality).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in language teaching, linguistics, or translation roles.
