Job Title: Creative AI Trainer
Job Type: Part-time or Full-time contract

Job Summary:
Join our customer's team as a Creative AI Trainer and shape the next generation of visual AI. Leverage your professional creative practice to teach AI models how excellent visual work is made, combining hands-on asset creation with deep critique. This is a unique opportunity to blend artistry and cutting-edge technology, sitting at the intersection of creative execution and product innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and curate gold-standard visual assets, including photography, video, analog artwork, and compositing.
- Develop compelling moodboards, storyboards, and style briefs to articulate tone, composition, lighting, and color direction.
- Deliver expert creative critiques of AI-generated visuals, breaking down what works and what needs improvement using artist-first language.
- Collaborate with AI engineers to define visual data requirements and establish high-quality training datasets.
- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms, producing creative briefs, feedback notes, and video walkthroughs of your process.
- Provide your expertise to cross-functional teams on visual storytelling, brand voice, and aesthetic consistency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven professional experience in a creative discipline such as photography, art direction, graphic design, cinematography, illustration, fine arts, or motion design, 3D Art, color theory, among other artistic/creative domains.
- Strong portfolio showcasing mastery in composition, lighting, color, and storytelling (link required).
- Hands-on proficiency in at least one creative production pipeline, such as printmaking, digital painting, or post-production.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to distill and explain creative choices clearly.
- Demonstrated visual judgment and creative tools proficiency.
- Experience collaborating in remote, cross-functional, and technical environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a North American or European institution.
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools like Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, After Effects, Capture One, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent analog workflows.
- Background in educational content creation, tutorials, or workshops; experience with generative AI tools is a plus.
